Yesterday I did a field visit to a historic home in a nearby community. To be frank, the house is in pretty rough shape. But the new owners are going to try to bring it back to life and save it from the wrecking ball. Personally, I’m a very big fan of this style of architecture and I sincerely hope this home can be saved. Honestly, I was blown away! The fact that so many of the original fittings where still in place was surprising. The fact that so many have never been painted over was shocking and almost unbelievable!
